Course Description

The Canadian Beauty Academy’s Skincare Technician program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the beauty and skincare industry, with a focus on the foundational knowledge of all esthetic, skincare, and beauty treatments. In addition to technical skills, students in this program are also taught business and sales skills, consultation skills, client care, and professional conduct. This program is designed to give students a strong foundation in the industry and the skills they need to succeed as skincare professionals.

In this program, students learn about the biology and physiology of skin, as well as the various factors that can cause skin cells to deteriorate. They also study how to create effective treatment plans and at-home skin care routines that can help to maintain, repair, and rejuvenate the skin. In addition to theoretical coursework, the program includes practical clinic sessions to give students the hands-on experience they need to become proficient practitioners.
