Perla is a dynamic entrepreneur and educator in the field of esthetics with a passion for empowering others through beauty and wellness. Graduating from esthetics schooling in 2011, she embarked on a journey fueled by creativity and dedication.

With a focus on continuous growth and learning, she expanded her repertoire by obtaining certifications in body and facial cupping, as well as reflexology. This diverse skill set allows her to offer holistic treatments that rejuvenate both body and mind.

In 2022, Perla reached a new milestone in her career by assuming the role of Campus Director, where she leads by example, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Driven by a relentless passion for skincare and a dedication to uplifting others, Perla continues to make waves in the esthetics industry, inspiring countless individuals along the way. With a keen eye for beauty and a heart full of compassion, she is truly making a difference, one client and student at a time.

Keri Coutts

Dean of Hairstyling

Keri, a seasoned hairstylist, graduated from hair school in 2015 and attained her Red Seal Certification in 2017, a testament to her unwavering commitment to industry excellence.

In 2020, driven by a profound passion for both the artistry and education within the beauty industry, Keri transitioned into the role of an educator. Stepping into the esteemed position of Dean of the hairstyling program at the Canadian Beauty Academy in 2022, Keri has dedicated herself to cultivating an environment of excellence, innovation, and mentorship.

Recognizing the transformative power of quality education, Keri enrolled in the Red River Teacher Education program, a current pursuit that reflects her ongoing dedication to refining her teaching skills. Her journey as a practitioner and educator intertwines seamlessly, with a harmonious blend of experience, formal training, and an authentic passion for teaching.

Ashley Lalla

Admissions Manager

Ashley, driven by a passion for aiding others, embarked on a career in social services and criminal justice. Transitioning to the private college sector, she continued her journey of empowering individuals to reach their career aspirations. With a robust background spanning over a decade, Ashley has dedicated herself to Admissions and Student Finance, contributing significantly to the success of those pursuing their educational and professional goals.

Being an integral part of The Canadian Beauty Academy team, Ashley is the professional who wholeheartedly guides our prospective students with expertise and care, assisting them throughout the enrollment process.

Anastasiia Pavlenko

Marketing & New Media Executive

Anastasiia is our digital marketing specialist with over 5 years of experience working across Ukrainian, European, and now Canadian markets. Her portfolio includes numerous completed courses and certifications in social media marketing, graphic design, photography, and videography.

Drawing from her extensive experience collaborating with bloggers and international companies, as well as her acquired skill set, Anastasiia is dedicated to crafting content across our social media platforms, emails, and advertising materials.

In her role as our digital marketing specialist, Anastasiia seamlessly blends creative and analytical abilities to develop and implement brand promotion strategies. She also actively engages with subscribers, students, alumni, and clients of The Canadian Beauty Academy, making sure that all inquiries were satisfied and your experience with us was as exceptional as possible.

Tessa Leclerc

Front Desk Coordinator

Tessa is a dedicated professional with a passion for ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. With a solid background in administrative support, she has been serving as the Front Desk Coordinator at The Canadian Beauty Academy for the past year.

In her role, Tessa takes charge of the front desk, where her friendly demeanour and organizational skills create a welcoming environment for students, staff, and clients alike. Beyond her primary responsibilities, she has proven to be an invaluable all-around administrative asset, offering support in various capacities to ensure the efficiency of daily operations.

Ashley (Cudal) Atienza

Nail Technology Educator

Ashley, a licensed esthetician with a specialization in nail technology, has seamlessly transitioned from a successful career in the beauty industry to an influential role as an educator. With a robust foundation established during her five years in a prominent and bustling salon, Ashley cultivated her skills and gained invaluable experience catering to a diverse clientele.

Taking her passion to new heights, Ashley ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully managing her own small business for two years. This entrepreneurial endeavor not only showcased her technical prowess but also underscored her business acumen and commitment to client satisfaction.

Back in 2016, Ashley joined The Canadian Beauty Academy as a student in pursuits of beginning a career in the beauty industry. Now, as an esteemed alumna, she not only brings the prestige of formal education but also contributes to the academy as a dedicated educator. Ashley's role as a teacher allows her to impart her knowledge, passion, and real-world experience to the next wave of beauty professionals.

Today, Ashley stands as a multifaceted professional—licensed esthetician, nail technician, and inspiring educator. Her journey from salon professional to small business owner and now an esteemed instructor reflects her commitment to excellence and continuous learning. Katy Ruiz

Hairstyling Educator

Katy boasts an impressive educational background and a wealth of practical experience in the industry. Graduating from MITT in 2013 and obtaining her Red Seal Certification in 2015 were just the beginning. Katy furthered her expertise by completing Barber training through Tommyguns Original Barbershop, solidifying her status as a professional in her field, specializing in short and long haircuts, as well as vibrant hair coloring.

Currently, she works at Modern Man Tuxedo Barbershop and manages her own home-based hair salon. This dual role not only allows her to share cutting-edge customer service insights but also fuels her ongoing quest for excellence in the dynamic field of Hairstyling. Committed to providing effective and professional education, she's currently enriching her teaching skills through the Red River College teaching program.

Elyssa Erlendson

Hairstyling Educator

Elyssa, a hairstyling expert who graduated from the PCI Hairstyling program in 2016 and earned her Red Seal in 2019. She specializes in Redken Color, Bellami hair extensions, and textured hair, Elyssa has become a versatile expert in the field of hairstyling.

The passion for teaching was sparked while mentoring young apprentices, leading Elyssa to embark on a teaching journey. In 2022, she furthered her education with the Technical Vocational Education program at Red River College, graduating with honours and a gold medal in 2023.

Now, as an educator at The Canadian Beauty Academy, Elyssa inspires the next generation of hairstylists. With a rich background in hairstyling, a commitment to continuous learning, and a proven teaching track record, Elyssa is a beacon for aspiring beauty professionals and educators alike.

Cassie Gascoigne

Hairstyling Educator

Cassie has had an impressive career as a hairstylist for over 20 years in the industry. Her love for hair started young, watching her best friend's mom work in her home salon. Cassie absolutely loved witnessing the creativity happen before her eyes. Fast forward, and her passion for the industry is evident in the details of her work. Cassie graduated from Accademia Dei Capelli in 2005 and received her Red Seal hairstylist certification in 2007. Specializing in custom color services that best suit her guests' styles, Cassie enjoys creating looks that make her guests feel their best. Currently, she is furthering her education at the Red River College (RRC) to become the best educator she can be, excited to contribute to the training of the next generation of stylists.

Veerpal Ghatoure

Skin Care Educator

Veerpal, a seasoned esthetician, beauty professional, and educator, boasts over five years of experience in the industry. Graduating with an esthetician and cosmetology diploma in India, she brought her talent to Canada in 2016, where she earned her Red Seal Endorsement and successfully established a home-based business. Veerpal specializes in brow shaping, waxing, makeup, and personalized advanced facial treatments. Her expertise extends to certifications in Sugaring, Ear Piercing, Eyelash Extensions, and Eyelash Lifts.

Having honed her skills in Winnipeg's premier salons, Veerpal took on a new role last year as an instructor at The Canadian Beauty Academy. Her commitment to excellence and professionalism shines through as she imparts her knowledge to aspiring beauty professionals.

Amanda Helliwell

Esthetics Educator

Amanda is a seasoned professional in esthetics and medical esthetics who brings 14 years of experience to The Canadian Beauty Academy. In 2019, Amanda completed her N.A.C.C IDP diploma, marking her first step into the world of education.

Her aptitude lies in providing top-notch advanced skincare treatments, such as bespoke facials and customized chemical peels. With a strong commitment to continuous learning, Amanda has undergone additional extensive training in skin sciences, dermaplaning, microneedling, laser technology, and nano-infusion.

Having a successful track record as a salon and spa manager, Amanda has always prioritized exceptional customer service, education, and remarkable results. Now, she is excited to share her expertise with the aspiring skin professionals of Manitoba!

Deborah Miller

Esthetics Educator

Deborah is a seasoned professional in the beauty industry. She graduated with honors from the Scientific Marvel School Of Beauty in 1996, earning her Red Seal in full Aesthetics. She was quickly recruited for a term position to refine her skills. After working in three prominent downtown salons, she established her own practice, specializing in naturally-based services and products with a holistic, health-focused approach. This led her to obtain additional certifications to further her career.

She enjoyed the experience and rewards of teaching so much that she returned to where her training began, The Canadian Beauty Academy. Now, she's pursuing an RRC Adult Teaching Certification to enhance her teaching skills.

With her ongoing dedication to sharing her practical knowledge, Deborah is now guiding the next generation of passionate, aspiring beauty practitioners.
