Stacey Manchulenko

Regional Operations Manager

Stacey has had an extensive career in Retail Management and most recently as a Regional Manager for the Manitoba area. She has taken this experience and successful career in the retail sector and is now transitioning to the private sector with our college.

As a respected team leader, Stacey is bringing a desire to blend great customer service and smooth operations. With a passion for team building, her focus is on ensuring strategic business plans can meet market demands for successful and quality education.

Driven to inspire others with a positive approach in everything she does, Stacey’s commitment to guiding instructors and students to reach their educational and professional goals aligns with those at The Canadian Beauty Academy.

Keri Coutts

Department Chair - Hairstyling

Keri, a seasoned hairstylist, graduated from hair school in 2015 and attained her Red Seal Certification in 2017, a testament to her unwavering commitment to industry excellence.

In 2020, driven by a profound passion for both the artistry and education within the beauty industry, Keri transitioned into the role of an educator. Stepping into the esteemed position of Dean of the hairstyling program at the Canadian Beauty Academy in 2022, Keri has dedicated herself to cultivating an environment of excellence, innovation, and mentorship.

Recognizing the transformative power of quality education, Keri enrolled in the Red River Teacher Education program, a current pursuit that reflects her ongoing dedication to refining her teaching skills. Her journey as a practitioner and educator intertwines seamlessly, with a harmonious blend of experience, formal training, and an authentic passion for teaching.

Cindy MacGuire

Department Chair - Esthetics

Cindy, a skilled makeup artist, began her journey in the beauty industry over two decades ago, honing her craft through myriad film and television projects.

With an illustrious career spanning 25 years, Cindy has become renowned for her ability to breathe life into characters through her expert makeup artistry. Recently, propelled by a deep passion for both the creative and educational aspects of her field, she transitioned into an instructional role. Serving as Department Chair - Esthetics, Cindy now imparts her wealth of knowledge to budding estheticians.

Her extensive education, which includes training across Canada in Motion Picture Makeup, massage therapy, cupping, clinical and advanced esthetics, as well as natural healing, underscores her multifaceted expertise. Her journey is marked by a seamless blend of hands-on experience, formal education, and an enduring commitment to excellence in both the classroom and the beauty industry.

Diane Dreger

Admissions Manager

Diane has spent her entire career “Changing Lives” for clients enrolled in a private school setting. Her 35+ years of experience in the industry includes administration, finance, marketing, instruction, management, but most importantly admissions. Diane has proudly helped over 10,000+ students embark on their career journeys. Establishing trust and gaining insight into the career aspirations of her students has allowed her continued success helping students in their respective chosen fields of study.

Diane has a passion for collaborating with people from all walks of life. She takes great pride in seeing her students successfully complete their programs of interest and go onto their rewarding careers. Diane has great empathy and compassion for all people and wants to help them every step of the way. Her motto is: “Your success is our success, and your first step is the hardest! You can do this.......Just believe in yourself!”

Elizabeth Rodrigues

Admissions Advisor

Elizabeth comes from an extensive background in banking. With over 27 years of experience as a Senior Lender for various financial institutions, Elizabeth brings with her a high level of customer service, organizational skills, office procedural knowledge, and thorough understanding of finance, investment, and lending. Elizabeth’s extensive experience has helped her develop a unique skill set.

As an Admissions Advisor, Elizabeth is skilled at sitting down with student candidates, carefully listening to their aspirations, helping to guide them in the right direction to choose the right program for them, and offer advice regarding financial aid options for their program. Elizabeth is passionate about helping guide students to the best choice for them in their enrollment process.

Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Manitoba, speaks several languages, and has studied language at Coimbra University in Portugal, one of the oldest universities in Europe.

Nataliya Spytsyna

Associate Registrar

Nataliya is an experienced academic professional currently serving as the Associate Registrar at Commonwealth Education Group. Nataliya brings a wealth of experience from her leadership roles in education and project management. With a background in digital marketing and academic administration, she has successfully overseen a variety of initiatives aimed at fostering growth and innovation. She holds a Master of Science degree in Management of Organizations from Donetsk State University of Management, further strengthening her expertise.

Her passion for driving student success and institutional development is at the heart of everything she does. Having worked with organizations across different sectors, including fashion and public administration, Nataliya is now focused on contributing to the continued success of The Canadian Beauty Academy.

Nataliya's commitment to making a positive impact is also evident in her volunteer work, where she helped thousands of Ukrainian citizens find housing during a time of crisis. She looks forward to applying her skills and experience to support the academy’s mission and guide students on their path to success.

Kirsten Marr

Front Desk Coordinator

Kirsten is our Front Desk Coordinator, who’s made a huge impact on our front-line operations from the moment she joined the team. Her bubbly personality and zany demeanor is contagious and brings a smile to all who encounter her. She is a team player with our staff and can be counted on to help in any facet. Her clerical knowledge makes her the chameleon we need to steer the ship (hopefully in the right direction!😄).

Cassie Gascoigne

Senior Hairstyling Instructor

Cassie has had an impressive career as a hairstylist for over 20 years in the industry. Her love for hair started young, watching her best friend's mom work in her home salon. Cassie absolutely loved witnessing the creativity happen before her eyes. Fast forward, and her passion for the industry is evident in the details of her work. Cassie graduated from Accademia Dei Capelli in 2005 and received her Red Seal hairstylist certification in 2007. Specializing in custom color services that best suit her guests' styles, Cassie enjoys creating looks that make her guests feel their best. Currently, she is furthering her education at the Red River College (RRC) to become the best educator she can be, excited to contribute to the training of the next generation of stylists.

Since starting with us in 2024, Cassie has been driven by a profound passion for both the artistry and education within the beauty industry, which has led her to ascend to the role of Senior Hairstyling Instructor. Cassie has dedicated herself to cultivating an environment of excellence, innovation and mentorship.

Deborah Miller

Esthetics Educator

Deborah is a seasoned professional in the beauty industry. She graduated with honors from the Scientific Marvel School Of Beauty in 1996, earning her Red Seal in full Aesthetics. She was quickly recruited for a term position to refine her skills. After working in three prominent downtown salons, she established her own practice, specializing in naturally-based services and products with a holistic, health-focused approach. This led her to obtain additional certifications to further her career.

She enjoyed the experience and rewards of teaching so much that she returned to where her training began, The Canadian Beauty Academy. Now, she's pursuing an RRC Adult Teaching Certification to enhance her teaching skills.

With her ongoing dedication to sharing her practical knowledge, Deborah is now guiding the next generation of passionate, aspiring beauty practitioners.

Angelique Stewart

Esthetics Educator

Angelique, one of our dedicated Esthetics Instructors at The Canadian Beauty Academy, has had a passion for beauty since she was a little girl, painting nails and doing hair for her family at just four years old. After spending five years in the banking industry, she decided to follow her heart and pursue a career in esthetics. In 2011, Angelique graduated from MC College’s Esthetics program and completed her apprenticeship at the Urban Oasis Mineral Spa, becoming a licensed Full Esthetician in 2014.

With over 13 years of experience in the beauty industry, Angelique has continuously refined her skills, earning certificates in everything from gel nails and advanced sugaring to lash extensions, microneedling, and IPL laser treatments. Her passion for sharing her knowledge led her to begin teaching in 2016, and in 2022, she proudly completed her NACC Diploma in Adult Education.

What Angelique loves most about her career is the opportunity to coach and inspire students from all over the world. Her goal is to help them reach their dreams and aspirations, and she’s excited to welcome every student to the academy with a smile, ready to help them succeed.
